The drug that the video reports is methamphetamine, a second generation drug that was based on amphetamine but had more powerfull effects on the CNS.
Amphetamines started being used as a respiratory tract medicine, to help people breath better. In the video they refer to it as cristal, but other names as ice or glass are also used. It basicaly provoque a state of euphoria that usualy last for about 6 hours.
The side effects are, besides from the hight rate of dependence, psycosis, strokes, movements distubances, hallucinations, weight lost just to quote the most common. You start convulsing when you’re in a overdose state.
The drug is a life threat, and it’s incidence is growing, especially among younger people (12-16yo). It’s one of the major prolems that today’s medicine and society has to face.
Thanks for the great, realistic video Nick, hope it will make mant people think:)
