This video directed by lisag tells the story of Nurse Norma McMurdo who worked at Riverview Mental Hospital in the 40’s and 50’s. The video particularly focuses on her memories of the lesbian patients, her compassion the hostility they faced on the outside world and her understanding that these women were not mentally ill.
