Documentary filmmaker and journalist Reed Cowan, a former Mormon directed this powerful account of Mormon involvement with Proposition 8. The Mormon group ‘the national organisation for marriage’ has been trying to block marriage equality legislature for over thirty years. The group worth hundreds of billions of dollars has been financing the anti-gay Proposition 8 bill.

Cowan seeks greater transparency and openness about the churches involvement in political and legal issues. From the trailer this certainly looks to be a fascinating insight into the Mormon church’s involvement with the anti-gay movement.
