The tribute single by Boyzone begins with the haunting vocals of the departed Gately: “I will learn to live before I die”.

Gately died suddenly from a heart defect in October whilst on holiday in Majorca with his partner Andrew Cowles. Gately was considered a great advocate for gay rights, and his death was a tragic loss.

The track was written by Mika and is available on the forthcoming album ‘Brother’.

Of the video, bandmate Ronan Keating said: “We wanted the footage to be as truthful and honest as possible based on how we were feeling and were reacting during the making of the video on that day – it really reflects the whole day as it was.”
