I love you Phillip Morris is the true story of a small-town conman’s journey to becoming a white-collar criminal. Steven (Jim Carrey) leads an ordinary life as a good family man and Christian until a near-fatal car accident makes him realise he’s gay and wants to live a full-on life.

After being exposed as a fraudster Steven is sent to prison where he meets the love of his life Phillip (played by Ewan McGregor).

The film premiered at the Sundance Film Festival 2009, and is being distributed by Consolidated Pictures. Directed by Glenn Ficarra and John Requa.

Released in the UK on 17th March 2010, and in the US on 26th.
